Owners Shain Dreyer and Chelsea Sweerus are not only cousins, but life long friends. Growing up in the same neighborhood in northern Brick Township, they both spent much of their childhood in Point Pleasant. They both enjoy spending their free time at the beach with their families.
In 2012, Chelsea and Shain decided it was time to take on the challenge of owning their own shop. And as fate would have it, at the same time they began looking for a location, Carmine’s Barbershop closed and went up for rent. After a year and a half of successfully rebuilding Bridge Ave. Barbershop, they expanded their endeavors and opened Richmond Ave. Barbershop in Point Beach in 2014. They remain committed to providing the best barbering services as well as giving back to the community they serve.
OUR STORY
We were established in 2012 and have been dedicated to bringing premium barbering to the Point Pleasant area. Our methods are steeped in traditions that have been developed and used by barbers for hundreds of years. Whether you want a quick haircut or are in the mood for some pampering, we have services to cover anything you need. Our specialties include men and boy’s haircuts, beard trims and shaping, and a variety of hot towel straight razor shaves.
